Remove Not the Ancient Landmarks

“Do not remove the ancient landmark Which your fathers have set.” (Proverbs 22:28; NKJV)

Landmarks
“Some remove landmarks…” (Job 24:2)
“You shall not…” (Deuteronomy 19:14)
“Cursed is the one…” (Deuteronomy 27:17)
“Do not remove…” (Proverbs 22:28)
“Do not remove…” (Proverbs 23:10)
“I will pour out my wrath on them like water.” (Hosea 5:10)

Landmark – a boundary, a border
Physical Landmarks
Real Estate – boundaries of an individual’s property.
Stop Signs – bring order to our traffic system – if removed confusion results.

Spiritual Landmarks
Serve to help one distinguish between right/wrong – if removed confusion results.

Physical – lose land, life
The equivalent to stealing...
Spiritual – lose soul…
