Psalm 42

This is how Jehovah would have us talk to Him.

But Hannah answered and said, "No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD" (1 Samuel 1:15; NKJV).

"When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me.  For I used to go with the multitude; I went with them to the house of God, With the voice of joy and praise, With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast" (Psalm 42:4; NJKV)

"Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us" (Psalm 62:8; NKJV).

"Arise, cry out in the night, At the beginning of the watches; Pour out your heart like water before the face of the LORD.  Lift your hands toward Him For the life of your young children, Who faint from hunger at the head of every street" (Lamentations 2:19; NKJV).

Pour out your heart before Him.
