Life Lessons from 2 Corinthians



1.  Nobody lives in a rose garden (1:8-9; 2:4, 11, 13; 4:8-9, 16-17; 6:4-5, 8-10; 7:5; 8:2, 9; 10:4, 10; 11:3, 14, 23-33; 12:7, 10, 15, 20).

2.  God gives us the strength to live in a sin-cursed world (3:17-19; Romans 8:20; 1:3-7, 10-11, 21-22; 2:14; 3:12, 18; 4:6, 9; 5:1-2, 5-6, 14, 18, 21; 6:6-7, 10, 16-7:1; 7:6; 9:15; 10:4-5, 8; 12:8-10; 13:4-5, 11, 14).

3.  Allow God’s grace to be sufficient for you (1:9, 12; 3:4-5; 4:1, 14, 16-17; 5:7, 14-15; 6:1; 8:5, 9; 9:8-11, 14; 12:8-10; 13:4, 11, 14).    

Conclusion:  Read 2 Corinthians and trust in your God and Father to save you by grace through faith, strengthening you here as you make your journey from earth to heaven.
