What Deuteronomy 6:4 Teaches Us About God

"Hear, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah..." (Deuteronomy 6:4; ASV)

We learn three things about Jehovah from Deuteronomy 6:4.

1. Eternal (YHWH)

2. Plural (Elohim)

3. Unity (One)

Jehovah is eternal. Jehovah is the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit. Jehovah is one in the sense of unity.
