"(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)" (Numbers 12:3; NKJV)
To be "humble" is to be meek and lowly. To be "humble" is to prefer to suffer wrong than to do wrong. To be "humble" is to have one's strength under control.
Moses was the meekest of men when it came to abuse offered to him, but his anger could burn out against irreverence offered to Jehovah (see Exodus 32:19-20, 25-28).
