2. Nehemiah put the expected results in His
God’s hands (2:1-4; Luke 6:12;
22:42).
3. Nehemiah understood that prayer and action go
hand-in-glove (4:9; James 2:26).
4. Nehemiah put his emotional and mental
stability in His God’s hands (6:9; 2 Corinthians 12:9; Ephesians 3:16; 6:10; Philippians 4:13;
1 Peter 5:10).
5. Nehemiah longed in prayer to be remembered by
His God, for good (5:19; 13:14, 22, 31; Psalm 25:6-7; 40:17; 106:4-5; Jeremiah
29:11; Matthew 25:34-40; Hebrews 6:10).
