The Finger of God

Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God" (Exodus 8:19; NKJV).

"And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God" (Exodus 31:18; NKJV).

"Then the LORD delivered to me two tablets of stone written with the finger of God, and on them were all the words which the LORD had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly" (Deuteronomy 9:10; NKJV).

"But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you" (Luke 11:20; NKJV).

According to Jesus, "The Finger of God" is a description of the Holy Spirit: "But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you" (Matthew 12:28; NKJV). "The Finger of God is synonymous with the power of God and is an appropriate description of the third member of the Godhead" (Ferrell Jenkins, The Finger of God: A Study of the Holy Spirit, p. v).
