Isaiah 57:15

For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
"I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble,
And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Isaiah 57:15; NKJV

The GOD of Israel is “Holy, Holy, Holy,” yet His cause is with the lowly, forsaken, humble and contrite (ISA 57:15).


This transcendent GOD who is above all and beyond all that is imaginable has humbled Himself to be near and intimate with man, to possess and be possessed by the lowest of the Earth!

He is both transcendent (above and beyond all that we can imagine or think) and immanent (near and personally involved with us).
